There is beauty in everything in the world around us. From a glimpse down an alley in a historic town, you can see beautiful plants and architecture. Stopping in any garden, the variety of form and color of flowers, the endless wonder of birds and the dramatic fur patterns of wildlife give so many choices to paint. I enjoy selecting a subject and capturing all the fleeting details so that people can stop and notice something they might have missed rushing about in their busy lives.

Painting in both acrylic and watercolor, I choose the medium, size and format depending on what the subject matter and desired impressions are. My paintings are meant to inspire people to take time to see the beauty in even the smallest things.
